Commercial Terms of Sale & Warranty Conditions

A. 30-Day Firm Period: Unless expressly stated otherwise in a custom tender submission, all formal engineering quotations (PDF format with authorized serial watermark) remain firm and binding for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.

B. Tariff & Currency Adjustments: After thirty days, quotations are subject to review based on OEM manufacturer baseline list price updates, international freight surcharges, or statutory tariff shifts.

C. Custom Packages: Bundled solution quotes (e.g. Total Station + Captivate Controller + 3D Scanner packages) are calculated as consolidated units; partial procurement of line items may void packaged discounting.

Every brand-new instrument supplied by our dealership is backed by the comprehensive OEM Leica Geosystems Limited Warranty:

• Optical & Electronic Hardware: Standard twelve (12) month limited manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and factory workmanship.
• Extended Customer Care Packages (CCP): Silver, Gold, and Platinum CCP upgrades provide extended 2-year to 5-year hardware coverage, priority loaner units during service, and annual preventative maintenance.
• Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Fleet: CPO instruments undergo 52-point optical recalibration and include a 6-month dealership warranty.

All new precision survey instruments (Total Stations, Digital Levels, Laser Trackers) undergo baseline baseline colimator testing before dispatch.

Calibration certificates issued by our metrology laboratory adhere strictly to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards. Calibration readings are traceable to National Physical Laboratory (NPL) or NIST physical standards.

Laboratory calibration fees are service costs incurred upon completion of optical baseline runs and are non-refundable once testing certification has been generated.

A. Commercial Incoterms: Domestic deliveries within India are executed CIP/Door-Delivery with specialized shock-cushioned logistics. International dispatches (USA, UK, Canada, Australia) are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) or CIF terms.

B. Transit Marine Insurance: 100% of all outgoing instrument consignments are insured against transit theft, total loss, or vehicular accident. Risk transfers to the buyer upon formal signature of the carrier bill of lading at destination.

C. Receipt & Inspection Window: Consignments must be inspected within 48 hours of physical receipt. Any carton compromise or external damage must be documented on the carrier delivery receipt and reported immediately to our dispatch team.

Because surveying and metrology instruments are high-value precision assets requiring individual factory serial registration, returns are governed under strict B2B commercial guidelines:

• Unopened Instruments: Unopened equipment in factory-sealed Pelican cases may be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to a 15% restocking and optical re-inspection fee.
• Activated Software Licenses: Software license keys (e.g. Leica Captivate, Infinity, Cyclone REGISTER 360) cannot be returned or refunded once electronic entitlement has been issued by Hexagon.
• Custom Tenders & Special Orders: Equipment ordered to custom industrial or military specifications is non-cancellable once manufacturing has commenced.
